German Battery Forum: battery systems for electric flying.

Insight into the near future: Michael Deutmeyer spoke at the eighth German Battery Forum about the demanding specifications of suitable batteries for eVTOL concepts. The electric drive of vertical take-off aircraft requires the highest energy and performance capacities at the same time. Possible solutions were presented by the managing director of EAS Batteries GmbH in an outlook on innovative cell technologies.

The aim of the annual congress is to develop an interdisciplinary understanding of batteries. With his presentation "Requirements for battery systems for electric flying" Michael Deutmeyer contributed to this "cross-industry scientific-technical dia-logue" at the end of January.

The Battery Forum Germany is organized by the Competence Network Lithium Ion Batteries (KLiB), supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
