EAS Batteries is specialised in the development of innovative battery systems. The current individual battery solution: A small series of extremely light battery test models with the proven EAS ultra-high power cells. Within five months, the EAS development department designed the battery, the charger and the Battery-Management-System (BMS) in an external battery interface adapter (BIA) for the Research Center Imarat. The system connects nine 7.5 Ah-cells in series, with full mechanical and electrical safety. The battery is thus specified for very high performance despite its lightweight construction. The order was placed by NK Enterprise, the EAS sales partner in Bangalore/India. Since the acceptance test could not take place in Nordhausen as planned due to travel restrictions in 2020, EAS Batteries carried out and recorded the procedure of the Factory Acceptance Test itself. Thus the project of the lightweight battery with external BMS was successfully completed and delivered in October 2020.
