From 6 to 9 September, the "most innovative SMM ever" will take place in Hamburg. This promise can be read on the official fair website. "SMM - driving the maritime transition" is the leading international trade fair for the maritime industry. The focus of the anniversary year is on change: "Digital transformation, climate change and the maritime energy transition demand groundbreaking, implementable solutions - at the 30th SMM they will be in the spotlight."
EAS Batteries is driving the maritime energy transition with the DNV-certified lithium ion battery EASy Marine®, which offers highest safety on the water thanks to its lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cell chemistry. Thanks to its modular design, the marine battery is exceptionally flexible and is particularly suitable for retrofitting to hybrid propulsion. Visitors to the SMM will find an EASy-Marine® demonstration module at the joint stand with the “Verband für Schiffbau und Meerestechnik“ (VSM) in hall B4.EG, stand no. 207.
