25 percent more energy content: With the new 50 Ah cell, EAS Batteries GmbH expands its range of large cylindrical cells with robust mechanical design and safe cell chemistry. The 50 Ah cell is particularly suitable for hybrid applications that require an optimal balance between power performance, energy density and safety. It comes in the same physical dimensions and design as the successful 40 Ah LFP cell and is therefore interchangeable within any existing or future battery design. "The new 50-Ah LFP cell combines the excellent power performance characteristics of its class with an increased energy density," says Head of Sales Dr Frank Diehl. With the new 50-Ah cell, EAS Batteries supports the economic change in terms of battery safety to LPF-based lithium ion cells. "Its use is recommended wherever high performing and safe battery cells are needed." This applies, for example, in the marine, space, construction or stationary large-scale storage sectors. The new 50 Ah cell is available immediately.
